If you’re going upscale with your chocolate, I recommend this place - Dark Chocolate Truffle Collection 16P | Luxury Truffles | Vosges Chocolate – Vosges Haut-Chocolat . They do some combinations that sound totally weird, but are awesome.

I like the ultra-high cacao bars for eating with coffee. I just break off a piece and let it melt in my mouth w/ the coffee

70%+ dark chocolate with a small glass of Malmsey Madeira is downright heavenly.

Peeps. I mean, yeah, they are cute. So maybe like those conversation hearts, they mostly exist for what they look like, and just happen to be edible. But they don’t taste good. (Nor do the conversation hearts, but i like them because they are fun anyway.)
I take it you’ve never microwaved a peep?
I’d say “edible” is being generous, but I’d also guess both you and I are of a certain age where marshmallow is not as appealing as it used to be.

I always thought Milky Way and 3 Musketeers had their names mixed up.
Isn’t 3 Musketeers just nougat inside chocolate, while Milky Way adds a caramel layer?

I think of it as “like” (maybe that’s a Twitter vs Facebook thing), but I probably overuse it & should add a note in my bio: “likes != approval and quotes != endorsement.”
Generally, yes. I think their nougats are somewhat different though.

Hmm, I’m bad with names, but i think I’ve had these and they were very good.
Err, ummm, i confess to occasionally roasting a marshmallow over my gas burner. But i still don’t like peeps.
Yes, she’s taking a vacation, but has registered on this site and says she hopes to return.

I guess I have not yet reached that age and I am in my 40s! What could possibly be better than a marshmallow? A marshmallow covered in sugar!!!

Had a layover in Helsinki several years ago and was amazed at how popular black licorice is out there. Bought something that was labeled with a fruity flavour, but was surprised to see that it was mixed in with licorice. Fortunately at the time one of my spin class instructors was from Finland so I gave the rest of it to her.

Have you had the liquorice-with-ammonia that’s popular in parts of Scandanavia? That may win for nastiest candy. (Although I kinda like it, in moderation.)
Salty liquorice, salmiak liquorice or salmiac liquorice, is a variety of liquorice flavoured with salmiak salt (sal ammoniac; ammonium chloride), and is a common confection found in the Nordic countries, Benelux, and northern Germany. Salmiak salt gives salty liquorice an astringent, salty taste, akin to that of tannins—a characteristic of red wines, which adds bitterness and astringency to the flavour. Consuming salmiak liquorice can stimulate either a savoury or non-savoury palate and res Salty...
