I haven’t been posting here, but been playing along for a while. But today all of my history was lost. It said this was the first Wordle I’ve solved. I wonder if I accidentally deleted all my cookies?

That still feels kind of like cheating to me. I try not to look at this thread before doing my wordle for the day.

See my post above. Not knowing about the change, I voluntarily played hard mode. Shared it here, no asterisk. Saw your post, changed to hard mode. Refreshed screen (did not reenter the guesses). Choose share again, to share with a facebook friend. The asterisk is there.

(No idea if any of you who did not comply with hard mode rules could get an asterisk now by changing to hard mode, or if it did some retroactive guess check.)
