I had hush puppies for the first* time in my life yesterday. They were aw-ight.
*not verified. Might not be true.
Most hush puppies are fine, but not great. But my local Cajun joint makes them in house and they are really, really good. They go heavy on the corn.

I’m not a fan of hush puppies, but Etoufee if made right is awesome.
Good hush puppies are really good. There are a lot of bad versions out there too though.

Had a nice lunch at a London french restaurant celebrating some positive company news with some international corporate folks.
Chateauneuf-du-pape wine and some steak frites.
Good food + company. Made for a great day.
