Cleaning up for dinner for a pair of relatives tonight. Picking up Wine Club sixpack tomorrow with a free tasting or their older wines.
I dig where my muse directs me. Art suffers under demands.

Friday: Part of Temple Service, then out to dinner at bar with friends. A band we follow was playing there. Watched end of Met Game, until 1:00 a.m.
Saturday: Torah study in a.m… Leave from there to visit daughter. She is in Roller Derby tonight.
Sunday: taking granddaughter home with us, get home around noon, 3:00 p.m. taxi to airport, 5 day Disney Cruise leaving Monday
Did the top yard work task. Decided to plead concern over aggravating by back to defer digging holes.

She’s snoozing after playing fetch for 1.5 hours.
OK. But be a dear and let her loose in the back yard when she wakes up!! 
She has a dog door so can come and go as she pleases. She loves being outside and was happily rolling around in the grass. It makes me happy seeing how dramatically her life has changed from her days as a stray and shelter dog.

What kind of holes are you digging?
I bought this for my wife a while back and she dismissed it & forgot about it at first and then this last fall(?) when some holes needed to be dug I reminded her about it and then she was ecstatic about it.

Planting bushes. Holes need to be at least 2’x2’. I probably need to remove some sod too. Too much effort today.

Nonstop kid errands so far. Soccer this morning, visitation after that, and now taking my son to get his nails done. Have to stop at the grocery store next. Been on the go since 11, and looking forward to a nap when I get home.

Cross post to nap thread! Got an hour between kids sports today, fixed a work problem, started washing machine repair. Last concessions duty tomorrow for a jazz concert. Likely yard work or inside stuff if it rains. Pick up kid at airport late tomorrow.

My mom never took me to get my nails done
last night, went mini-golfing with the kids.
today:
- youngest son had an all-day team state bowling tournament. Watched the first 5 games (they went 5-0) then left to take care of other chores
- picked up a package from store
- applied for a job
- returned kitchen utensil to a stor
- dropped off a load at Half Price Books
- load of laundry
- back to watch the finish of the bowling tournament. Get this: kid’s team finished the prelims in FIRST PLACE! They were lights-out today. Overall like 16-6, in first for the stepladder finals. When it comes down to the best-of-three, they choked the first game, but then came back hard core in games 2 and 3, winning the state championship.
Totally stoked. - Out to dinner to celebrate
- watched St. Vincent. to relax. Probably the third time I’ve seen it.

I’ve never gotten my nails done professionally, but my daughter has done a great job on them. Definitely better than what I do.
