Amazon Prime put up the trailer for the final season of Vikings on Youtube. I know what I’ll be bingeing December 30th!
added Sherlock & Orange Is The New Black to queue
Sherlock is awesome, so much better than the effects-laden Downey movies. What streaming service has that? And I like that it’s so short, the basic four episodes BBC style.
Watched parts of OitNB, but never sat to watch.
This.
Especially Irene Adler episode.
Netflix (instant)
I enjoyed the movies. The American TV show was ok, but didn’t grab me
It was on Netflix the last time we watched. If you Google a show, there is generally a bar at the top of the google blurb that has tabs and one of them should say watch, and it lists services that have it and whether it is free or the cost.
You mean “Elementary”?
I thought it was good, for broadcast TV.
Nice tip! Thanks!
:snort:
We are watching the undoing on HBO. Just started episode 5.
My husband and I are watching Manhunt: Deadly Games on Netflix. It’s about the Centennial Park bombing. Definitely a show that will get your blood boiling. It’s disgusting how mainstream media and the FBI treated Richard Jewell.
There was also a movie about this (“Jewell”?), which I thought was pretty good.
Taking a break from Eureka (starting season3), and watching Undone on Prime.
Its an interesting concept of animation, and because its animated, it does trippy effects at times. Three episodes in, and I’m not sure if the overarching plot will be executed well, but i will probably keep watching as it is an interesting concept.
In the middle of 2 anime series right now Parasyte and The Promised neverland.
Parayste is so-so much fighting seemingly similar battles over and over. Half way through so probably will stick it out.
The Promised Neverland sees to be a dark series about an unusual orphanage. 2 episodes in and has promise.
Also watching Emily in Paris with I’m enjoying a lot more than I expected.
Aquabats
Lol. They had a series? I had a copy of Fury of the Aquabats way way back and it’s probably the most borrowed CD I’ve ever owned.
I was in my laboratory, creating what I thought would be, well, something great for the world –
a two-headed cat!
You could pet one kitty’s head, and pet the other kitty’s head… But little did I know the power of atomic energy would create A TWO-HEADED MAN-EATING MONSTER!
Ultraseven:
it has me laughing so hard.
Anyway, we found Aquabats & Ultraseven (and more stuff like that) on Tubi TV:
If you like old, cheesy TV & movies, the streaming video era is pure gold, Jerry!
I just discovered Cameo and was looking at what was inexpensive. Right there on the first page was … The M.C. Bat Commander. $65
Finally got disney+ to handle the infinite amount of garbage that our little kid consumes…
Unfortunately Pixar only lasted like 2 weeks and just like that we’re onto B-list Disney.
Also, thanks to Queens Gambit, she now sometimes pretends that she’s “The Russian”.
