Season 2 of The Boys on Prime is in the books. Not bad, but if you don’t really care for heads exploding and a lot of blood, you may want to pass. 8 episodes of the hour variety in general.

In the world of comics, Archie Comics began a series called Afterlife With Archie a number of years ago. Think the Archie gang meets The Walking Dead. After Sabrina made a few appearances, they gave her her own comic, “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and the Netflix series is an adaptation of that.

Finished up Truth Seekers last night… cute story arc (kind of), and I liked how it wrapped up. It would be nice if they had another season, but I can imagine it wasn’t terribly popular.
I just finished this. While the show had ups and downs, and i was ultimately disappointed by the new host, overall i enjoyed it, especially the finale.

And I agree with you that the other one got a little creepy sometimes with the gay sex innuendoes. But I like him overall, despite that.
Anyone up to binge watching The Umbrella Academy starring Elliot Page?
My wife is watching that. I declined. I’ve discovered that I’m not a big fan of shows that include on the supernatural or superpowers but are set in sort-of real life. I think I watched the first episode (mainly for née-Ellen) when it first came out but wasn’t impressed. Same for “The Boys.”
Ellen Page is a trans-man guys. Maybe the show will write that in
Elliot Page, and the show noted he will continue playing Vanya with no intentions of changed gender for the character.

We started watching The Flight Attendant last night, first episode was enough for us to watch another tonight.
The bf and I watched it Saturday night and binged through the first 3 available episodes. I loved it because I had no idea what it was about (thought it was a light comedy), and the “twist” got me hooked.

My issue is, I find it difficult to say Elliot with using my ET voice, which I have realized is my Shining - Danny’s alter ego voice. Maybe it is the finger use.
I do like it when people choose a name relatively close to their birth name, though Allen, would have required less thought on my part.

Binged The Trials Of Gabriel Fernandez - only 5.5 hours. Child abuse case documentary, going after the whole system.. You need to judge if this is for you. Well done, but like many documentaries making a point, it gets redundent
Me, too. That’s obviously a very personal decision, and I know plenty of people who have changed their name far from their birth name. (Mostly not trans people, just people who wanted a new name.) But a few of my trans friends have carefully selected names that would be easy for their friends, and I’m always grateful.
The bf has a transman friend that changed from a girl name to a fairly gender neutral name…not sure if he’s trying to make it easier on his friends or more confusing for people who don’t know him…
