What are you watching (bingeing) these days?

Watched the first 3 episodes of Sabrina last night. Not as good as the first few seasons IMO seems they are rushing through things simply to “complete” a story arc. Maybe it will resolve well in the final 5 episodes. We’ll see

I want to watch that. I read the books. Utrid son of Utrid is a great character.

I started watching the show Forever on Amazon the other day. It seems pretty good so far. I may be able to relate to it because of how consistently I follow a routine.

Season 3 of Cobra Cai was OK and they’ve set up for season 4

Started American Gods.

Watched S1E1, have no idea what this show is going for, but bf and I like it. We like trippy shows. Hopefully the theme solidifies though.
Gives a lot of The OA or Legion vibes.

Trippy galore.

not really binging on anything, but watching Schitt’s Creek. We are enjoying it.

Lupin was awesome, but part 2 not out. Arrgh

I walked away after Season 1 since it never seemed to actually be going anywhere. YMMV

we’re still hanging on to it. One of the weird trippy shows that the bf is actually capable of following. I’m usually the one into trippy shows.

I’m starting to get the gist of it. Seems to be new “tech/entertainment” gods vs the old gods. I hope it’s not as basic as that.

Our roommate has watched it all and read the book, and he said the show is pretty faithful to the book.

I hate it when you start bingeing a show, and once you get to the end, it ends with a cliffhanger and online articles indicate they weren’t renewed for a 2nd season.

We finished Utopia on Amazon in a day, as there were only 8 episodes. I was thinking of watching the original British show that has 2 seasons, but it was cancelled and ends on a cliffhanger from what I read.

Kind of comical that the show has a disclaimer stating it’s a work of fiction and not based on an actual pandemic. More than likely a factor in it’s cancellation as it hit too close to home (the 2020 version that is).

pick better shows that get renewed

Netflix is bad about this as they often cancel even popular shows when production costs go up.

The only one I’m sad about was the OA (I like trippy shows )

I never watched Sense 8 but I heard that one was good and got axed too.

Netflix needs to start “Peacocking” which I dub the tiering of rates that Peacock is using for “The Office.”
with new seasons, Netflix could put them in a higher tier, charging more. instead of, say, raising the price for everyone, which is soooo cable.

But if I look up the show online, I’ll get spoilers! :grimacing:

Finally watched The Last Dance. Amazing the footage they had for that. Jordan was such a badass.

Mr. NA is making me watch Community.
