i think it def got there. that whole bucket of not quote perfect humans in the group were super representative in the end. but the 1st intro of the man w down syndrome (this was like S1Ep3) was ham handed at the time.
Has anyone watched Shameless from begginning to end? I stopped after two seasons I think.

Finished Loudermilk. I suppose the pandemic helped kill it timing-wise as season 3 ends on cliffhanger. Didn’t realize when last season was filmed until the Screech reference (He’s dead, ya know, no spoilers). As far as the disabilities as prop goes, yah, maybe. The character with DS was exaggerated against type, but I suppose that’s better than being omitted or playing the stereotype. Good episode 3.7 kinda touches on disability issues.

I keep trying to get everyone in my life to watch Severance, but so far no one has. It’s no Ted Lasso, but I think it’s excellent tv.

I’ve mentioned this before, but fans of sci-fi really should check out Apple TV’s offerings. Apart from Severance; Silo, Foundation and For All Mankind were all excellent. Of course, Ted Lasso was well worth it too (especially the first two seasons). I have heard that See is good but haven’t tried it yet.

g-lassie and I have been falling into the Survivor rabbit hole. Restarted the entire series the other day, figuring we can get through all 46 seasons in about 12-16 months (we are watching 46 live as well).
First season was highly entertaining, especially in that it’s very different than the current show. Obviously the production budget has increased by orders of magnitude, and the game itself is different now that people have studied strategy in-depth. But the most interesting things are how much more rigorous the actual survival aspect was, and how much society has changed in general.
Started watching Schitt’s Creek. We’re through season 1 and enjoying it. Those eyebrows are incredible

This is one of a few shows that actually improved as the seasons went on. Characters developed more and became deeper. Most shows characters seem to become narrower and caricatures of themself

I love Palm Royale! Kristin Wigg’s acting is superb.
