What are you watching (bingeing) these days?

Yeah, Bluey is fun… an especially good show for dads.

Bluey does have some fun at the expense of the dad sometimes but at least the show does not make dad out as a Homer Simpson type!

These days I am binge watching Josh from TIA

Rewatching “Game of Thrones” on Max. Middle of Season 2 so far. Might have to stop after Season 4, when it diverges too far from the books.

I don’t recall what happened to Sansa and Joe Jonas, er, Tyrion’s marriage at the end. I assume since not consummated, it was annulled by the King.

I don’t think there was an annulment per se. She just went along with Littlefinger’s plan to re-marry her to Ramsey Snow, giving her a partial claim to her birthright, El Norte. Perhaps she was a bigamist in a sense? Tyrion never considered her his wife. Her wedding night with Ramsey was intended to be somewhat brutal for her, but yet, she had agreed to the marriage and she knew what was in store, moreso than when Dany wed Drago - and those two ended up in deep love.

I guess I can watch that last episode again.

Wasn’t brought up in the final episode.
Maybe in Winterfell before the war?

We watched the live action and then tried to give the anime a shot.

Watched the first episode of the anime and really did not like how much of an asshole Monkey D Luffy was. In the live action, he was self centered and aloof to if he hurt anyone with his actions. But in the anime he seemed intentionally mean. Really made it hard to root for him.

I missed this when previously mentioned on here (found 2 prior references). 5 30 minute episodes worth the time.

^This went a direction I wasn’t expecting and had no supernatural component they seemed to be developing in the pilot. If there is a season 2 I probably won’t be checking in.

Upload on Amazon Prime. 3 seasons - first 2 are out 3rd drops next month with 2 episodes per week. This has an interesting premise and likable characters. Some comedy, some drama. The premise being when you die you can have can have your conscience “uploaded” to a virtual reality world. Those with more money can afford a better afterlife. Coder developing a “free version” dies young unexpectedly and gets uploaded by his rich girl friend. More to it than that but don’t want to post any spoilers.

Enjoyed the first 2 seasons. Thanks for the reminder.

We’ve watched most of Manifest, Flash, Arrow on Netflix; probably canceling subscription.

Rewatching Good Omens season 1.

We finished watching season 2 of Foundation. The season was a little slow to start with and at one stage had about 5 storylines. Finished really well though. It’s supposed to be 8 seasons but the 3rd season hasn’t been greenlit yet.

Started on For All Mankind. I really liked the first episode but my wife is not sure that she’s going to get into it. Apparently it doesn’t hit its straps until the second season, so hopefully I can nurse her along for the next few episodes to get there.

Take this back as Ashoka is now getting way more interesting with the Space Whales and Thrawn.

Was pretty average till now. Grand Admiral Thrawn is a great character.

Just finished Handmaid’s Tale- pretty gripping (and super bleak) through S3, then it kind of goes off the rails. As do most series. But all in all pretty good and thought provoking. Will prob watch S6 if it ever comes out.

Got back into Bad Sisters on Apple TV this weekend.

Finished first season of For All Mankind and my wife and I are totally onboard. I love shows that capture the 60s and 70s, especially if there are moon landings involved. Season 2 is set in the 80s (so far).

We caught up on OMITB, which is frustrating.
I prefer no delays.
Not watching TMS for another eight weeks for this reason. We will watch two or more episodes per night.

Gen V, Amazon prime, spin-off of the Boys. First 3 episodes out. If you liked the Boys, you’ll probably like this one.
