I seem to recall liking That 70s show when it was on but I didn’t watch it religiously. I think I watched a few reruns years later and it didn’t really hold up. We tried to watch That 90s show pilot but though it was terrible and never watched another episode.
I’ve been backtracking to season 1 of Yellowjackets (Showtime) which is at this moment about half way through broadcasting season 2, so I should catch up and finish season 2 in real time.
It’s a little Lost-ish. Plane crash survivors, a little supernatural-ish, storylines progressing in different time periods so the flashbacks are frequent. I ended up hating Lost, so I hope this doesn’t become as stupid.
my wife had to remind me that we watched season 1. i would def have to backtrack if i am to watch S2. not sure it will happen. being that unmemorable isn’t ideal, right?
Schmigadoon! and Schmicago! (Apple)- light hearted spoofs of the musical genre. I’m enjoying these more than I thought I would.
The Big Door Prize (apple) - odd show. But interesting so far.
The Ark (Peacock) - just started this. Umm the science and logistics in this Sci-fy show are beyond credulity. Gonna give a few more episodes since the crew seems reasonably entertaining.
Mrs. Davis (Peacock) - looking forward to this one. 1st episode drops tonight, hope it doesn’t suck.
Two episodes left as Schmigadoon and then on to Schmicago! Hopefully mybwife likes the Schmicago more, as the Schmigadoon songs were more annoying than funny for her.
Yet to start BDP. Love O’Dowd, so think it will be good.
The Ark was horrible SciFi channel show. And i loved every over acted moment of it. Still have two episodes, as the finale just showed up tonight.
First FOUR episodes of Mrs. Davis today. It is really freaking weird and so amusing.
It’s very good. I think, after we watched it, that I can finally convince my wife to go back and watch The Americans, which also stars Keri Russell. The Diplomat also has Rufus Sewell, who was fantastic in Man in The High Castle, and Michael McKean (Better Call Saul, Spinal Tap, Laverne & Shirley). There’s also a plethora of excellent British actors, who I recognize from other shows.
The dialogue is so well written. Additionally, I’m a sucker for aerial shots of London.
