Wednesday Weekly Weigh-in

When I diet I don’t usually have a regular schedule, IYKWIM. I only have to use the bathroom every 2-3 days. It’s pretty clear from my weight loss chart which days those are.

On a journey here as well, starting in Jan. I thought about posting weight in courics, which might be appropriate in your case. So far down about 12.5lbs. For me it takes a combination of diet and exercise; I just need the discipline to do it.

That seem too irregular. Hardly a day goes by for me, and when it does, I wonder what caused it. Usually, it’s caused by skipping a meal a day or two ago.

And, lifestyle/diet/habit changes affect a lot of things.

Too little data to make much of it. Hardly two weeks.
Wait two months, then get back to us.

Also, drink more water if you’re not already. I go through about 100oz (about 3/4 of a gallon) every day. No coffee, one Coke Zero, a glass of milk every other day.

In my younger, skinnier, eating less days, I was always irregular. When I eat more and am fatter, I go more often, usually every day but not at the same time of day and I’ll often skip a day here or there.

My son goes several days without doing the 2, so I think he takes after me. My stepson goes like clockwork (and sits on the toilet for upwards of an hour). He takes after his dad.

I’m on a low-carb diet right now, but I’m eating tons of veggies, far more than I used to, and more fiber as well. You’d think that would have a positive impact, but I think there’s just not that much bulk because I’m restricting calories.

Drinking coffee tends to help, but I drink 2-3 cups a day and I’m still only going every other day or so. So I think it’s simply my normal. I’m not constipated or anything, or bloated, I just go when I have to go.

Yeah, you go when you have to.

You go whenever you have to, guuuuuuuurl!!! :+1:

1 hour on the terlet with no go??? That does not sound healthy to me!!!

I’m like a clock: I have a BM within an hour after my morning coffee pretty much every time.

People can be quite different here based on metabolism, diet, exercise,… I think “normal” falls in a huge range between 3x/day and 3x/week

3/17/2021: 200.0
3/24/2021: 198.4

No, uh, movements in the last two days, so I gained some weight. Yesterday I was at 196.0. Bummer.

Summary

I didn’t bother to save my weight history from the ao before it got canned. I started making an effort to drop some weight in late 2018 when I hit 206. Was between 180-185 for most of 2020. I’d look best around 160, but I am not willing yet to make the concessions on diet and exercise to get there. I like to eat well and I know what it takes to get me to 160. I think 170ish is a good goal for now.

Highest adult weight was 235 and lowest was 160. Both were over 20 years ago. I’m 5’11"

I had gotten out of the habit of the weekly weigh in since the ao died, so starting over.
