United States Presidential & Congressional Election 2024

Good Lord

male or female?

I assume if it was a male that detail would be prominently called out. But that’s just an assumption on my part.

I’d love to hear how the sex videos came up in questioning about burglaries.

Democrats and swing voters who disagree with Biden about Gaza and the situation with Israel.

The more this goes on (like today 100+ people killed trying to get aid), the more those disagreements will harden.

The reaction to this is visceral because 25,000+ innocent women and children have been killed by Israel (as told by the SecDef today).

You seem to not want to understand that this sort of behavior makes it very, very difficult for people to vote for a person (Biden) whom they see as ā€œnot doing enoughā€.

End result is they stay home (depress vote) or vote 3rd party. In places with very close swing state results, this can make a difference.

Outside of universities, this is moving further and further down the news cycle. The only swing state with a Muslim population above 2% is Michigan (2.4% Muslim). It may have some effect there but nationwide I think it’s a nonissue. However, if Biden sided too much with Palestine, I imagine there are some powerful pro-Israel interests that might have a say.

Edit: Forgot to take into account that many Muslims are not from Arabic nations. Also, many Arab Americans are not Muslim. It’s unclear how many would vote against Biden just because of this issue but Michigan seems to be the only state where it would be a factor.

The election is likely going to be really, really nasty.

And its also going to be closer vs 2020 as Trump seems to be succesfully stalling legally-wise, in order to be able to get on the ticket.

Losing Michigan is essentially short-sighted because Biden cannot afford to lose the backing of a group that voted for Democrats (because they despise Trump).

Biden cannot afford to lose EC votes on stuff like this. Its an own goal because he could absolutely do it differently.

It was a female. I’m piecing together some of this family’s story:

  • Tyler came about when his dad got his mom pregnant at 18
  • Lauren drops out of high school
  • Dad thereafter exposes himself to two minors
  • Tyler gets a girl pregnant when he is 17
  • Jayson and Lauren divorce
  • Same year, Tyler flipped his car, injuring a friend to the point he had to give up his welding career as he couldn’t hold a torch
  • Family downplayed the accident, police gave him a ā€œbroken headlightā€ ticket. Mom was in Congress at this time.
  • He didn’t go to court for this and the judge issued a bench warrant
  • I am finding zero penalties for him having a warrant for failure to appear (Mom was in Congress)
  • Jayson was arrested for assaulting Tyler
  • Lauren fondles someone in public
  • Jayson was arrested for assaulting Lauren (though claims Lauren kicked him in the balls)
  • Tyler arrested for allegedly stealing purses and making a sex tape with a minor

I’m sure I’ve forgotten a lot.

Now if we can find some checks they wrote each other.

Maybe a few of them will. But if they are passionate about Gaza they most likely are also passionate about other issues where they are well aware that Biden is light-years better than Trump.

I mean, even for a Palestinian single-issue voter who is a U.S. citizen registered voter*… surely they’re still aware that Biden is way way WAY better for their cause than Trump, who considers Palestine a shithole territory and wouldn’t mind in the slightest if Bibi wiped every last Palestinian off the face of the planet.

I mean, maybe there are a few such voters who stay home rather than vote for Biden, but like… probably a single digit number in the entire country.

Scads of people are mad at Biden… I’m not questioning that. But when the alternative is Trump, they’re still going to vote for him.

I also think you are grossly overestimating the amount that the average American cares about the plight of Palestinians.

*I’m not sure this demographic even exists, but if it does it is very, very VERY small.

For those of us not intimately acquainted with the Boebert family… Jayson is the father / ex-husband and Tyler is the son?

Deeper comprehension of the list makes that quite clear.

  • Jayson and Lauren divorce

I don’t know about Palestine specifically, but I do expect some folks will stay home because Biden is not progressive enough. Many more because he is ā€œoldā€.

They will all say it’s not their fault that Trump is president.

and if Tyler marries Lauren and they have a kid, and one of her other sons marries Jayson, then that new kid would be his own grandpa.

With this family, I wouldn’t necessarily conclude from the above that Jayson is not Lauren’s son.

But correct, Jayson is the grandfather/ex-husband who is still young enough to have a Millennial name.

This reminds me of demolition derby at the county fair .

Eh, give me a break. Progressives are SO loud relative to how many of them actually turn up. We had this whole game back when Biden was nominated 4 years ago. Lots of noise about progressives and ridiculous debates like how much free stuff to give to illegal immigrants and then none of them turn up and the leading moderate (Biden) wipes the floor with them because, oh yeah, progressives don’t bother to vote. They suck up 75% of the oxygen in the party and constitute < 25% of the votes.

TL;DR: The creators of Truth Social gave Trump a 90% stake in the company, [editorializing: seemingly to promote it to MAGA to get market share.] Trump stands to gain a lot of money, potentially enough to pay off his court losses.

Allegedly, Trump used underhanded and potentially illegal tactics to further reduce the remaining stake in the company and boost his own before the sale goes through. Now he’s being sued for that.

I have to wonder how that detail made it into the affidavit.
