I think you mean “now the Boeberts have been stealing wallets/purses from cars”.
It was just a random thought…
And yes, in regard to the large number of Muslims writing “undecided”.
The number is not actually very large. But their protest matters, because they live in a key Swing State. So their votes matter.
Admittedly, WI and PA are not so Arab.
What’s the “contributing to the deliquency of a minor” part in the Boebert story? The rest of the story doesn’t even hint at what’s behind that.
“Wanna go :qunq: see a movie :qunq:?”
I assumed he was breaking into cars with others, and at least one of them was underage. Just a guess.
true, I guess “contributing to delinquency” doesn’t always have to be sexual
Beetlejuice and Chill.
For some comparisons, in 2024 Biden seems to have 81.1% of the vote, vs. 13.3% for uncommitted. In 2012, Obama had 89.3% of the vote, vs. 10.7% for uncommitted. So a larger uncommitted count this year, but not hugely so.
In the Republican primary, 538’s poll averages were 78.7% vs 21.8% for Trump (yes, that’s 100.5%. I haven’t looked at the methodology). Trump won 68.2% vs 26.5%. It’s not a good sign for Trump that he is consistently underperforming the polling.
Apologies, I meant to be discussing the corrupt Boebert Crime Syndicate who believes they’re above the law because Democrats can do what they want.
… wait
See most Americans do not think that’s what is actually happening. We know you do, but that is not the prevailing opinion in the United States. At most this means lefties hold their nose while voting for Biden rather than voting for him enthusiastically.
When the alternative is Trump… nah, not going to cost Biden a material number of votes on the left.
Yeah, RFK Jr is a real wildcard. If Trump is somehow not the GOP nominee (due to being in jail, perhaps) then I think RFKJr pulls more from the right than the left. If Trump is the nominee I don’t see RFKJr getting all that many votes from either side.
I guess it depends on magnitude. Ralph Nader 2.74% of the vote in 2000 was enough to give G Warmonger Bush, but Gary Johnson’s 3.5% in 2016 wasn’t enough to stop Trump.
Since Perot got ~18% in 92, and ~8% in 96, no 3rd party has done better than Johnson’s showing in 2016.
Unless there is a 3rd party who clearly takes voters away from one side and changes a swing state, like Nader did on 2000 on Florida and New Hampshire, then the 3rd party vote effectively doesn’t matter.
Unless there is someone like Chaney on the R side or Sanders on the D side running as an independent, I don’t see a lot of votes getting siphoned off from Trump or Biden.
I forgot that this was the son who made Lauren a grandma when he was 18 years old and she was 36.
Anyway, he’s now allegedly made a sex tape with a minor.
I’m also tickled that he was identified as a thief while wearing a hoodie with the name of his mother’s formerly-owned restaurant.
The Apple does not fall far from the tree.
Both his parents seem like a real piece of work and he seems to have taken the worst from both.
“Dammit, son, I told you to wear the Comet Ping Pong hoodie!”
he has not really had a lot of stable adulting modeled for him. he is responsible for his actions, sure. but the mom is a punchline and the son is a casualty of it to a degree
“Most” is absolutely irrelevant here.
What matters are voters in the swing states of the EC.
And they will never vote for Trump. But they will stay home or vote 3rd party.
And that is what can hurt Biden.
Party of Family Values and Personal Responsibility.
Fringe candidates gonna fringe. Doesn’t have a chance (I hope), but some of this is impressive spin:
“Hey @MissouriGOP I just learned the candidate listed first on our primary ballot for Governor is a cross-burning KKK member who ran for US Senate 2 years ago and freely admits his KKK membership & white supremacist beliefs,” Dogan wrote, adding in a subsequent tweet that he hoped the party would reject McClanahan’s filing fee, calling him a “racist loser.”
The RFT reached out via text message and asked McClanahan if he was the man pictured in front of the burning cross in the image shared by Dogan. McClanahan replied, “It’s an invisible empire Yes it’s me.”
In an unusual legal strategy for a man alleging he’d been defamed by assertions he is aligned with antisemites and white supremacists, McClanahan says in his own court filings that he is a “Pro-White man, horseman, politician, political prisoner-activist who is dedicated to traditional Christian values.” He also says that he has had “honorary memberships” in the Knight’s Party Ku Klux Klan and the League of the South.
He also writes he “did attend in 2019 a private religious Christian Identity Cross lighting ceremony falsely described as a cross burning.”
Who exactly will never vote for Trump? People who think that the Israeli government is committing genocide?
And you think they’re going to stay home because they’re either too stupid to realize or they just don’t care that doing so helps Trump?
Is that the substance of your argument?
If so then I disagree. If I’ve misunderstood your argument please clarify.
