Does it have hints of the previous night’s spaghetti bolognese?
Now that’s a Roman empire I can get behind
My kid was listing “utensils” to create gifts, including things like tape and scissors.
As soon as I thought about correcting her, I realized that she was probably right.
Also my kid overheard my wife saying that my brother owned a “bar”.
I was like “what?”
And she was like, “the job kind of bar.”
And I was like, oh yeah, he’s a lawyer.
TIL: the “Bar” literally refers to the bar that splits up the court room:
Coca cola still uses cocoa leaves for flavoring, with cocaine removed and sold to a drug company
cocoa is chocolate, you meant coca
a good side hustle!
Similar to the fact that Rio Tinto earns more from Gold and Silver from it’s Bingham Copper mine, than it does from copper.
That reminds me. Not today, but recently I learned that 7-Up used to contain ‘lithia,’ aka lithium citrate. The same drug used today and usually just called lithium.
I guess after having a couple of Cokes you needed something to take the edge off.
“Lithium” is lithium carbonate. TIL : Lithium citrate is used in a liquid form.
Hmmm, google seems to say they are basically the same in terms of effect, but the bioavailability differs a bit.
Is carbonate what’s typically used today?
Happy 404 day for those that celebrate.
TIL that Atlanta was the first city in the US to have mandatory 10 digit dialing throughout the metro area. Per wiki, it was due to having the world’s largest fiber optic network at the time and was sufficiently large to use as a test case.
Totally thought you were talking about the error message
