After a week in Southern Arizona with 110 degree temps and no alcohol, I promptly had a shower beer. I especially needed it because my Lyft driver was bathed in Axe body spray.

Ok, I jumped on this bandwagon and had a shower cider tonight. I’m not sure it meets @dothemath’s lofty standards though… it was Angry Orchard in a glass bottle in a koozie.

It was… weird. I’m not really accustomed to having ANY beverage in the shower other than possibly opening my mouth and letting some hot water trickle in.

The contrast between the hot water and the cold cider… yeah… it’s a thing. I dunno… jury is still out on whether I’ll try this again. I really don’t drink alone for the most part, so if I don’t… that’s the main reason.

I think Kihei was fine, but Lahaina is gone. Hopefully the remaining fires do not spread to Kihei or anywhere else.

Yeah I remember that Breadmaker guy getting all hot and bothered because he saw somebody’s ankles. But he gets horny over bent veggies, so I wouldn’t read too much into that.

Well, that beer was canned (and most likely brewed) on the mainland. You can tell by the type of can.

(Aluminum can manufacturers made the top of the can smaller to save on material costs, but the can factories on Hawaii didn’t make the same change.)
