Also a pink crew neck sweatshirt. Hanes Crafted Garment Dyed

I have a big glass sunroof in my car, but it came with a built in sunshade. The sunshade stays closed most of the time. Works great.

I had a convertible for several years. I kept a hat and sunglasses in the car at all times.

My spouses car has a full.sunroof runs the full length of the car..and they keep the shade closed.most of the time as well.

I hate sunroofs.

I would prefer a traditional sunroof, with a shade for summer and something that opens for spring and fall. I think I’m going to like the panoramic roof for about seven months of the year and 100% need to keep the shade installed for summer.

Nick, did you have a problem with the hat blowing off?

green baseball socks b/c the local store didn’t have that color

Bathtub mat

ODB II extension cable with power switch

(Signed up to be a guinea pig in a state-supported study on funding highway construction/maintenance based on a mileage tax rather than a fuel tax. I want to be sure the ODB II device I received as part of the study won’t drain the battery when the car sits idle for a couple of weeks…)

Vacation or are you un-American?

My wife’s out of town for a month, visiting family. Since part of the reason for her long family visit trips is to give me a break from caretaking duties (she’s disabled…)…yes, it’s sort of a vacation.

I’ve also been accused of becoming Canadian. So the answer to your question is arguably, ā€œbothā€.

For the most part, the only times I drive are when I need to go out of town (usually for work), for medical appointments, or to have the car serviced. Because of my wife’s disability, routine shopping is done online/via delivery services.

(I picked up some ā€œbachelor chowā€ provisions after I dropped her off at the airport Tuesday, figuring that I should save a few bucks and shop for myself. That experience reminded me why I hate the nearby supermarkets, and why I’m willing to take advantage of making ā€œactuary moneyā€ to hire somone else to do our shopping.)

I’ve got a couple of medical appointments next week. After that, the next time I would expect to drive the car will be 2½ weeks later, when I need to pick my wife up from the airport.

16g or ram for my laptop! Gonna make that old beast smoke!

Lockers for our entry way. Shoes, backpacks, coats are now organized instead of a mess

Ordered the ram and a few things on Monday. Amazon says delivery is saturday. WTH? Normally it’s next day. If it’s not next day, why am I paying for prime, and why didn’t I just drive into the local computer store and have it two days ago.
I get some things aren’t in all warehouses (I’ve ordered stuff that they’ve shipped up from US warehouses), but this was some laptop ram and a few boxes of coffee for our keurig.

Here is the latest thing I’m considering to buy:

Neural Networks for Babies: Teach Babies and Toddlers about Artificial Intelligence and the Brain

Note that my upcoming child already has a copy; plus a few others. My son-in-law’s best friends are the engineering types and got this and a few others from the series as a ā€œcongratulationsā€ present. Needless to say, I’m ā€œtots jellyā€

Replacement foil for electric razor

A book. Kindle + Audible.

But I have a pill case in my cart.

Getting very tempted to buy a Ninja Creami

Anyone got one?

Oddly enough, the NYT just reviewed this one. I hope there’s no paywall here, I don’t see a link to gift this one. We have a Lello machine and it kicks ass but they aren’t cheap. I only popped for it as a gift for my wife, who’s lactose intolerant so without this she wouldn’t get much ice cream.

There’s lots of good books for babies these days. I’m a mathy, my daughter is a science nerd, and her husband is a construction contractor. I’m having fun buying books for the expected kid.

Plus we have all the books from when our kids were young. The kid’s going to have a full library.
