So uh, do you guys think Putin will invade Ukraine or what

From the article:
" The document was drawn up by Kirill Dmitriev, Vladimir Putin’s envoy, together with Trump’s special representative, Steve Witkoff. Speculation [based on the use of language] in the plan suggests it may have been written in Russian and later translated into English.

A group of US senators said Rubio told them the text was not an American one. It was, they said, a Russian document deliberately leaked by Moscow which the US then passed on to Ukraine. Rubio later insisted the US did author the proposal, with input from Russia and Ukraine.

Amid a backlash from some Republican senators, Trump rowed back from his earlier demand that Zelenskyy sign off on the deal by Thursday."

Cheetolini basically demanded Ukraine had to immediately accept whatever terms Russia wanted, representing them as a US plan. Putin has to have some great kompromat on Trump.

But Rubio seems to at least be trying to steer the deal towards more favourable terms for Ukraine.

Witkoff seems to be part of the problem as he is as pro-Russia as Trump.

Reminds me of the phishing detection practice they give us at work. If something has to be done immediately, it’s probably a phishing attempt.

Because SOMEONE has to fact-check all these motherfuckers’ lies, and THAT is a lot of work:

Witkoff seems even worse than I thought.

At least there are consequences for corruption in Ukraine.

An important first step.

You have to give the Ukrainians a lot of credit here.

They are astonishingly good at drone warfare.

Someone in the CIA is likely in big trouble for contradicting Dear Leader

Trump will believe Putin over US intelligence agencies. He did so in his first term.

Here is an interesting deep dive into how this war is changing warfare like WW1 with the introduction of drones. This is a long read.

I debated with myself using the word “but” as GO folks are pretty sharp as well as pedantic. Putin and Trump have both bitterly denounced her publicly on several occasions. I am not sure that makes her more or less qualified?

All I know is that many countries, even Canada, seem to want to get into drone production.

These aren’t the drones you’re looking for . . .
