I missed this by a few hours yesterday. I left Copenhagen around 1 pm.

Glad to be back in Canada. Was interesting to chat with my Polish colleagues and hear they’re not worrying about it as they can’t do anything about it personally.

The situation in Denmark has gotten worse over the last few days.
Its clearly a professional state actor driving this, as they are also targeting military sites.

Russian ship was loitering off Danish coast with trandponder off. Russia is seeing what they can get away with. Ukraine needs to be given more and better bombs.

The practicalities of drone warfare continues to be unnerving. Long range, maneuverable, untraceable, and so cheap that both sides are producing over a million a year now, and yet just a dozen is enough to shutdown all the major airports in Denmark? How are we going to secure anything?

I’m curious as to how long til this happens in Canada and the US.
I’m a bit surprised that they haven’t been able to use Ukrainian tech to tackle this.
The economics of drone warfare is also interesting where you can use cheap drones to financially drain your opponent as it often costs multiple times more to destroy the drone than the drone is worth.
Probably will start in the Arctic?

Corruption will be the end of Ukraine if they don’t take serious steps to mitigate it.
It has crippled a few Eastern European countries over the last 30Y and has caused the population to distrust public institutions (this leads to them voting for extremist populist parties)
But it’s “illicit” only if you get caught . . . amirite?
This “peace plan” is a clown show. It’s a US peace plan. No, I never saw it. It’s a Russian peace plan we never approved. No, It’s US based.
It’s clearly Russia favorable so I imagine Vlady had to buy some Trumpcoin for the airtime.

I wish the US would just present the peace plan as a Russian proposal, since it is, and be an honest broker in negotiating between Ukraine and Russia on what is a more realistic plan. Trump continuing to say that Ukraine is not grateful enough to the US only helps Putin.
