So uh, do you guys think Putin will invade Ukraine or what

He couldn’t get access to an upper floor window?

At this point, there is probably a big market for single-story luxury bungalows in Russia…

Hope Trump is finally figuring Putin out or maybe he just sees the Nobel Peace prize slipping away.

“We get a lot of bullsh*t thrown at us by Putin, if you want to know the truth,” Trump said. “He’s very nice all of the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”

That’s not a nice way to talk about one’s boss.

Encouraging moves by Trump.

The EU’s trade surplus with the US should diminish with all these NATO military purchases so hopefully that helps the EU in its trade negotiations with US.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m looking forward to Trump selling out Ukraine in the Putin summit in a week, then looking much more weak in front of Putin than he did at Helsinki - and all on American soil, to boot.

will Sarah Palin be involved

I thought about that, and … it would be so completely on brand for Trump to ignore the governor there for whatever perceived slight and have Palin there representing Alaska.

Maybe even endorse Palin for Senate, as a stick in the eye to Murkowski [who’d still back everything Trump wants, no matter how devastating it is for Alaskans].

It is unfathomable that the Ukraine leader is not in attendance to defend his country. However Trump seems more interested in getting media attention for the meeting with Putin than getting a reasonable settlement for Ukraine. It is just a reality show for him.

Here’s the rub. The Eu is not ok with Russian expansion. Seen that, been there, before. No way, Jose.
Trump doesn’t give a $hit.
Putin has made it abundantly clear that he will not accept NATO Russia’s borders.

Hence, Ukraine gets no say. Bye,bye,Donbas. Cuz why would Russia quit a war they are certain to win (maybe at great cost), without getting something . If NATO countries are going to act like Ukraine is already in NATO, then definitely don’t quit.

Oh, and Trump is everybody’s fiddle. Just call the tune after telling him he has the sexiest eyes you’ve ever seen.

Putin already starting the flattery…..

However, if Trump pulls off a fair deal for Ukraine, I would give him kudos for his effort.

“Fair deal” is the key.

Would you give Manitoba to Putin?

I assume that the best that Ukraine might agree to going in is accepting Russian annexation of Crimea, the LPR, and the DPI with the pre-war boundaries.

I assume that the best that Russia might agree to going in is…Ukraine.

I assume that the most realistic deal would be to accept the current line of control, with outside peacekeepers controlling a neutral zone around the LOC.

I don’t see any of those happening.

Well at least we didnt waste time. Got to “NO” in a NY minute
