I was also considering creating another Facebook id and posting a question about acceptable posts and contacting group moderators with it. I even tried to creat the id, and didn’t lie at all about it (except used first name SL, my initials). Facebook rejected SL, probably because it realized I already had an id, though official reason is that name must be “your real name, what your friends would call you”. Might still do that, with info that wouldn’t easily link to me, on a library computer. Might be some delay between getting the id created and joining the group, but should be manageable.

Have you otherwise engaged with the group (i.e., commented or reacted to others’ posts)? It’s possible the auto-mod has a setting to delete posts by accounts with too little group-cred. Kind of like how we need to be a certain level here to access the Sandbox.

I have liked many posts. Perhaps averaging 1 like a day? At least 0.5.

And I wasn’t trying to distinguish between post and comment. I’m pretty sure I never tried to start a new post, just respond to existing posts.

Here, for example, was today’s attempt. I can’t imagine anything wrong, except some auto-block.

Maybe they’re also a Slow AF answers-to-inquiries group.

That could be. The administrator and one moderator I certainly messaged at least a month ago. The other mod, who was not a mod when I messaged the first two, I messaged for the first time yesterday morning (or possibly Tuesday evening).

My bet is it is an innocent screw up

Good chance of that, but how to fix?

i am back to running somehwat consistently. injury that hit me in july/august mostly fixed with stretching and strengthening.

joined the gym for 4 months bc my treadmill is in storage 9reno in the usual space it sits in). But today I did run outside and it was 9 degrees with windchill below 0.

things like that or leaving to run when it is raining at the start remind me that I am running consistently

I went for a very short run yesterday. Yay!
Only 20 miles.
Wait, I mean Yards. 20 yards.
0.4 miles. That is the distance around the track at my walk-to park. Only one lap, because my wife needed me home as she is temporarily lame. I think the warm-up (walk to the park) is longer.

nice. i ran a 5k yesterday and landed in at 2245. got passed in the last 300 by a guy who won our age group. when someone passes me my default is to tell myself that it must mean more to them. good for him!

Saw this graphic and thought it might interest some here.

Are you saying ultra runners are color blind?
