With this court I was kind of surprised it wasn’t 6-3 to overturn the English language.
I asked AI whether Clarence Thomas has ever ruled against Trump. It said he had and gave examples of decisions that went against Trump but then described how Thomas had cast dissenting votes.
This is clearly a message to the church and believers therein, not an advocation for the church to withhold charity to anyone who needs it based on some effort or means testing. We don’t get to decide who is and isn’t worthy of help by cherry picking the NT.
Witness to Congress cites the Congressional Budget Offices claim that 15 million Americans are losing healthcare due to last year’s legislation. Response:
“Given that you sat here and lied and I gave you the chance to correct yourself, I’m not interested in anything else you have to say,” Fine said. “Your time is done, I will move on. You can shut your mouth, you lied to Congress.”
Mamdani attacked as a “commie” after suggesting New Yorkers not set their AC too low during heat wave.
He did it in front of a fan wearing only a bathing suit…
(Cooke will get get the reference, and note it.)
I see “suggest” and not “demand” as a “commie” might do.
Oh no, we need to dissolve the Union because…
things will continue to be like they were
It reminded me of Jimmy Carter’s fireplace chats in the 1970s suggesting that Americans wear sweaters and turn their heat down to conserve oil. Jimmy got pilloried by the GOP for such UnAmerican suggestions.
So, RN.
I thought 78 was the ideal anyway from an energy efficiency standpoint.
I think it is an efficiency(cost)/comfort intersection. But, everyone has their own comfort curves.
78 is where I keep my house (I live in the Phoenix area). Feels great.
Visiting my parents in Utah and they have theirs set to 74. Feels great. 78 would feel really hot.
Not sure if that means anything important.
And probably easier on the body coming in from 100 degrees outside than coming into 68?
GOP gets the Gold Medal for hypocrisy.
What’s infuriating is that the non-partisan, previously planned festivities that were cancelled sound like they would have been really awesome and worth watching.
Still one in LA tomorrow at The Coliseum. Nah, not going, even though the tickets are only $17.76, and I believe it all goes to a worthy cause and not to tRump’s offshore account.
Sadly, it will be a strange 250th celebration.
