Yup.
I think it is legitimate to look into Comey’s action but the extreme reaction from some Republicans hurts their standing with moderates. The calls by some Republicans to throw him into jail without an investigation or due process is totally off-putting in the eyes of reasonable people. Plays well to the Trump base though, I guess.

Oh, “embarrassment” or “annoyance.” That is the bar being set here?? Dumbasses. Should have invoked “NATIONAL SECURITY!” In that the government’s embarrassment is a National Security risk.
Because they were not allowed to do it, yet they did it anyway. That is what will be revealed as 'embarrassing." But the tRump Administration has been doing illegal shit since 1/20/2025 (possibly before). How is THIS the embarrassment? Oh, maybe this affects people who actually have feelings and who are not grifting America and the World without remorse and without a whit of the consequences to American Citizens?
