This is an “allegedly do the darndest things” rather than “say the darndest things”.
Apparently there’s a question about his eligibility to vote in Alabama…and whether he will meet Alabama’s requirement that lieutenant-governors be resident for at least seven years if, as rumored, he’s tapped to run for that position next year.

I wondered if I should discuss whether mine was appropriate for this thread. My personal thinking was that the relevant feature was not Comey’s post but the backlash, mainly from Republicans, about his post.
He presumably doesn’t live in a cave, so he knows the meaning of that symbol. imo he knew what he was doing. (That doesn’t mean that some of the backlash isn’t also a darndest thing. I’m just saying tho.)
