I hit the sports-related part and got sidetracked there and had a hard time letting it go. I kept getting enough hits on most searches that I thought I was on the right track. I didn’t search for city until the very end (I suppose obviously).

I got caught down the ‘university’ rabbit hole. Finally got UK, warmer. Then Scotland, and then city. And then I spelled it wrong, my phone suggested it didn’t have an H on the end.

I figured out x ray very quickly. Worked through radiation to light and saw light-_____ to get light years, which got me to galaxy at 18. And then I tried everything I could think of, but by about guess 35 I was out of ideas and cheated. Didn’t know a radio galaxy is a thing.

Had to cheat on the second word, got Radio really early on and was completely stumped because I had gone through every single thing I could think of and I was WAY off.

I floundered without getting anywhere for a long time. My breakthrough was also seeing _____-years, which got me to galaxy. I played around trying to find a hint to the first word, but I really could have quit as soon as I got galaxy.

Same trouble here, I had super and hero, and lots of other relevant hits, and didn’t think to combine the words.
