Kind of a freaky cartoon/story. I certainly enjoyed the music.

You’re just making me depressed.
It reminds me of when we’d wait for that magical half hour… sometimes it was 11:30-noon and sometimes noon-12:30 on Saturday mornings. The one half hour per week we actually got to see the good cartoons.
You know, Looney Tunes.
We also got the shitty Disney kids movies of the 1970s – I did like Robin Hood, but on the whole, the cartoons were dreary and not very well-animated. Okay, I liked Pete’s Dragon, too.
My sister used to set her alarm to get up early to watch woody woodpecker as a kid. She was embarassed that this was the reason she set her alarm and claimed she just wanted an early start, but in later years admitted, it was woody woodpecker.

I bought some chocolate at a Lindt store yesterday and got a chocolate bunny thrown in for free. The label said “Ribbon is not edible.”. I’m guessing there was at least 1 moron responsible for this.

Shouldn’t they then use an edible ribbon to be even safer?
I once had a rubber duck. It wasn’t large, roughly the size of a can of pop. It had metal weights in it, so that it could be used as a paperweight. It wasn’t a children’s bath toy.
Inside the packaging was a note warning not to use the duck as a personal flotation device, as if someone might take the duck with them to prevent themselves from drowning.
Misread this. I blame Bezos’ rocket.

My husband grabbed plain bagels and plain cream cheese in a recent grocery stop and I’ve never felt more married to Ned Flanders.

What’s your preferred bagel/cream cheese combination?
Blueberry bagel + strawberry cream cheese. Cinnamon raisin bagel is also acceptable.

Are you doing a strict diet rn?
For whatever reason, I can’t do savory cream cheese bagels - I just associate them too much with sugary sweet flavors. A blt bagel is a go I suppose.
I’ve been doing low carb for almost five months now. I have non-reactive hypoglycemia and have a family history of diabetes, so I’m trying to focus on my insulin levels. Bagels are out. And while I do miss carbs on some level, I don’t crave them.
