If a ādad jokeā is an āunoriginal or predictable joke, especially a pun, of a type supposedly told by fathersā, then I think a āgrandad jokeā should be an āaggressively and/or needlessly horny dad joke, often told by older menā.
OāLeary was originally an interesting business/celebrity type personality. Fun to listen to and entertaining. Then what, these people start to believe their own bullshit? Or lean to far into the artificial personality? Or maybe he was always this way but masked most of it so it was just entertaining. I dunno, but heās definitely gone off the rails.
