Sophia Lauren?
ew, might as well throw it back!
And donât blow your nose in it!! Itâll just make a mess!!! ![]()
The forecast is for a low of 7F on Monday and a high of 78F next FridayâŚ
Weâre in the same boat out here. Low was 40 on Monday. Will be in the 90âs tomorrow through the weekend.
Woke up to snow this morning. That was a surprise. The temperature has been hanging at 35F, and itâs still coming down.
Saw this at the store today. Itâs got a sell by date of today so they marked it down, but seems like someone made a mistake. Two plus pounds of sliced smoked turkey for a little over a dollar?
Had some on a salad today. Weâll have a sandwich or 2 tomorrow and freeze the rest.
They rang the wrong item number for turkey (probably cost per pound on fresh whole bird) and didnât notice. 30% off for best by date math is fine.
Agree 30% off for best by date is fine. Itâs sometimes steeper than that. But if they used that price this package would be about $17. That seems about right. This was the smallest of 3 packages available, so maybe they couldnât move that many today?
Driving in a January downpour, the young guy in front of me hydroplaned, bounced off the guardrails a couple of times, and hit my car despite my swerve to the far lane. I was OK, both cars totaled, the other driver apologized and gave me his GEICO insurance info. Police, fire/emergency guy, and tow drivers were all very helpful.
My insurer paid a decent settlement for my car, and I bought a new one. Then I asked about the deductible, they followed up with GEICO. The nice lady at GEICO established that the other driverâs coverage was not in effect until later the day of the accident.
So it appears that he quickly added coverage after the accident. GEICO will deny the claim. If GEICO doesnât report the other driver to the insurance department, I should.
I would say thatâs attempted fraud if he claimed the accident happened after he added the coverage. He probably rang up his dad or a friend straight after the accident and they told him to do that (maybe because theyâd got away with it in the past). Insurance fraud is a pretty serious crime.
Most likely because in the past, the other party never followed up and provided more information to a human who can then add the info directly to the file.
Iâve seen other posts with links to articles showing that AI doesnât have good reasoning when it comes to date/time logic. Given that coverage begins at midnight of the effective date, it may very well not process correctly that the coverage was added/paid for at a time other than midnight.
This description seems strange, since he apparently gave the GEICO information at the scene of the accident. Is the situation that he had some GEICO coverage then but not enough, and tried to increase coverage after the accident? Here in PA for any motorist coverage he would need at least some liability coverage.
or it lapsed, but had it in the past -
or fatherâs plan and he was added after the accident - he is technically covered, but if he stays accident free (or something dad can handle with cash) dad saves on the premium. This is why Auto Insurers want to know all kids ages.
Will most likely have to pay back premiums, technically fraud, but most likely wonât be charged
I see.
I kind of hoped I would lose RPS in the first round. Thereâs still a chance of that, but itâs not likely now.

You could throw the game . . .
Wait . . . thatâs exactly what we do, isnât it?
I was thinking of posting almost the exact same thing.
work trip has me visiting a place that I think must be the most vomited in city in the country. iâve seen evidence of two instances in 13 hours (one in a public rest room, one on the street).
