I just realized today that I will probably never see or speak to my ex husband again, the person I built a whole life with for six years.
We divorced for good reason, and it’s not really a sad thought, well maybe a little sad but not overwhelmingly, but I have a hard time with the permanency of things like that. We were friends long before we were spouses, and now we are neither and don’t carry fond memories of each other.

A justice-system-involved young man just came back to us after being “on vacation” for a while! He’s close to graduation and has a fun personality even though he can be a handful.
“There is a list of people (4 names minimum but probably more) that he cannot be around at any time.”
We just gotta get him to the finish line and keep him working on his self-de-escalation skills.

My random thought. I haven’t driven my car yet this week. Maybe I’ll try to go a full week. I’ve mostly been biking, though I did break out the scooter today.
