Yeah I havenât looked lately, but I am a âlikeâ slut⌠I give it up for everyone. But since Iâm one of the most liking posters, I donât get as many likes because I donât / canât / wouldnât like my own posts.
Meanwhile the posters who donât give out the likes donât have that problem.

I seem to get likes in waves. So I must have cyclical periods of being interesting or funny, followed by intense periods of boredom. Iâm in a good place this week, it seems.

I think I used to be #1 in likes received. Clearly I need to step up my game.
ETA: Confirmed. Steve White has 700 more likes received than I do over the past year.

Or you could just Spam Funny and SFW, Political Humor and Political Truths with Facebook memes like I do. Some of them get liked, and I donât get negative likes for those that bomb. Pro tip: one meme per post increases like count.

A month ago I got a save the date card for a wedding. It was for my daughterâs high school bff. I thought, âhow sweet,â and left it for later.
Today is later. I see that the wedding is a couple states away, where Mr aj has some family. Then I look up the town and itâs really close to his family. I see that one of the groomsmen is a kid of one of Mr ajâs cousins. Small community and all. Then I text my daughter to see if sheâs going and she says, âI really donât know her well.â Itâs only then that I realize the bride to be just happens to have the same first name as my daughterâs bff, but she is actually another cousin.
To be fair, Hubby has I think 17 cousins on that side of the family and I donât know any of them well. And now their kids are getting marriedâŚ
Eta: the friend and the cousin have the same hair color, the pic doesnât show her face, and the coupleâs last names are neither on the card nor the website.

You actually canât⌠after a certain length of time has elapsed the software wonât let you retract a âlikeâ.
In theory you could make a post that tons of people like, wait out the requisite time period, and then change it to something horrible like âHitler had the right ideaâ or something and it would look like everyone had liked that. I assume the mods would kill such a post and hand out infractions or bans or something. And in the meantime weâd be able to see that the post was edited. But stillâŚ

You might look at ArthurItaâs post that I was responding to and the various counts in NerdAlertâs post to see what I was actually getting at.
I wouldâve used red font, but I ran out of red ink and the manufacturer says that itâs on indefinite back order due to China hording it all to send to Russia.
I knew what you were responding to / knew you werenât serious.
