No…no, you were not.
The last math-song I knew was the theme song to Square One.

‘Math rock’ really isn’t all that math related. Just a lot of complex time signatures. I don’t quite know why it’s called that.
I was chatting with coworkers and music came up, and they were talking about some band I’d never heard of. I asked what genre we were talking about, and they said math rock.
They gave me a couple of bands to try and I did quite like Minus the Bear.
I think some of it relates to which “beat” gets the “emphasis”.
For example, in 4/4 time, the 2nd and 4th beat in a measure gets the “emphasis”.
in 3/8 time, IIRC, the third beat get the emphasis; and 6/8 time gets the third and sixth beat.
From here, the signatures will involve considerable “math” in working through how the emphasized beat is to be performed based on these starting points.
 in my world, it’s the 1st & 3rd.
…1st & 4th.
Nobody here can dance like me
Everybody clappin’ on the one and three
Noooooooooooooo… clap on 2 & 4!
I didn’t realize we were clapping.
But it’s still that same old back beat rhythm
That really, really drives 'em wild
But is the heart of rock & roll still beating?
It looks odd, but if the doctors took an x-ray they should be telling you if there is anything to be concerned about.
Yeah, they said eventually the bone would grow all around the plate and spacer, and for now it looks good. I said it looks like I had a bowl of screws for breakfast, but the cute PA didn’t laugh.
@NerdAlert, I just want to warn you that if you’re trying to hide something from us, well, we can see right through you.
I’m trying to re-put together some ikea furniture and am missing a few parts. Those look like they would work.
So the spacers and the plate will never be removed???
Nope, I hope not anyway, I would prefer to not have another surgery!
There’s nothing funny about you getting screwed!
