Anyone have a recommendation for a weight bar pad for shoulders? I have a low pain threshold, and I have been using an old pool noodle cut down for this use for four or five years now. However, it is shedding a lot more now, so maybe it’s time to not DIY this.
Seeing an ETHOS at a local Dick’s, which is close by to the new Ice Cream Shopppppe. Hmm…
Following. After dropping weight, the bar sits directly on my bones. Never even thought about pads existing - albeit, I haven’t been serious about lifting lately so I’ve only done low weight.
I actually have this for when i use larger weight
I have been doing functional weight lifting for the past 6 weeks ish. I can see/feel more muscle definition in my thighs from the squats and lunges, but that’s about it so far.
I’m lifting primarily for skeletal and muscular health, not gains, so that’s fine, but I wouldn’t complain about a little bit of definition in my arms and glutes (and I’m doing lifting targeting both).
So, I got new glasses a couple months ago. Nearsighted and astigmatism. They were fine at first, but now I can’t see up close with them on. (Super good for their main function of distance though.) Which is fine since I usually take my glasses off anyway when I read or look at something close. But I always used to be able to look at close things with my glasses on before.
Could my eyes have changed that much already? Do I need bifocals? Do I just have shitty glasses?
Eyes.
Sound just like my Rx and glasses. I don’t want to have bifocals or transitions, so I have thinner-than-average (height-side) glasses, and I put them high on my nose so I can see close things below them.
I went ice skating for the first time in about 25 years.
Just like falling off a bicycle.
Maybe put some ice on that.
Way ahead of you.
