Because we all know lots of lazy people and none of us has experience having enough influence for our personal greed to make a difference?
It’s interesting how the older I get the less I care about being perceived as masculine and yet that would seem to make one seem more masculine (relatively speaking…)
I find that being perceived as masculine is over rated.
Eh. Once you can’t keep overtaking age, clarity should sink in.
Also, if you are in a happy and secure marriage, no need to prove anything to anyone. Most of masculine insecurity is caused by a lack of love. (And sex.)

I don’t think it means either of those things, actually, although it would be pretty rude to say that to a person regardless.
I am in no way qualified to decide whether your job needs to be done or not in most cases. I mean, maybe if I work with you.
And no one deserves to live in poverty. But some jobs are better suited for a high school or college student than someone supporting a family. Low paying jobs are a great way for those folks to get some experience and then get a better, higher paying job. I no longer list my food service jobs on my resume but I did when I was in my early twenties.
I had more fun being a hostess at the local Italian restaurant than I do actuarying. But I don’t expect that job to support Mini Me and me. ![]()
Sure but for most people, not all, get a better job means get a better education, and those jobs don’t cover living expense, let alone tuition.
Eh, I think $15 an hour jobs rarely require much education.
I don’t really think most jobs “need” to be done.
