True, but also somewhat funny. From a GoA regular on facebook

I’m guessing you didn’t read the results of the study before you started pontificating -

A team found an association between household firearm ownership and elevated lead levels in children’s blood in 44 states, even when controlling for other major lead exposure sources.

Gonna guess there are other sources that are unknown.

I think the study is okay, but not great. However, if you look back at my post, I didn’t disagree with the study.

I said “it’s nothing remotely like living in a house with led paint”, which is true. Evidenced by the dramatic drop in blood lead levels.

You’re probably right that it’s not as significant as paint exposure, although no level is considered safe. I believe the main driver of the drop in lead levels was the removal of leaded gasoline.

It appears I’ll have to come up with another theory for craziness though, as US lead levels are much lower than most countries. -

I liked the one where they had a petition to end woman’s suffrage.
maybe 20 people signed, before someone actually knew what it was

Felon votes in Florida!

I saw some MAGA folks melting down at the thought of women telling their husband they’re voting Trump but actually voting for Harris. Saying it was the downfall of families or something like that. Guys, if your wife isn’t comfortable telling you how she feels, maybe that says something about you. My wife is a grown-ass woman and she doesn’t need me to tell her how to vote.

My impression was for many Christian fundamentalists, the husband is the leader of the family and the wife is supposed to take direction from her husband on all things.
