I did 9 dialga raids today. I was pokemoning all over the city in the 95 degree heat. i’m spent.
NEED MORE DIALGA. TOMORROW TO REPEAT.
This is one of the few good things about my apartment. The pokemon situation is amazing even for manhattan. I can reach 4 pokestops and a gym from the comfort of my couch.
Except for events, suburban raids by me are still mostly remote, set up through discord. I did two today, one from home and one from the car while running errands. I’m not even sure what city the gyms were in.
The downside is that you need remote passes and someone close to a gym. I’ve continued to sell Google information that it already knows for Google Play money that’s used for remote passes.
I have an excess of regular raid passes, so this would be useless to me. i bought a few remote raid passes just because i was sitting in my apartment and didn’t want to get up and saw raids close by, but i needed to blow through regular raid passes.
so i used a bunch today. still have 29 i need to use and want to try and use them all on dialga.
I’ve been playing a little Geoguessr and my first thought on seeing your pokemon screen was, wow, I bet I could figure out where that is.

I nominated a pokestop that’s right by my house and it worked. It is nice to be able to hit one without leaving the house.
I can’t hit any gyms from home without a remote pass, but I can see/hit 7 gyms from my house with a remote pass which is pretty good here. I realize you can probably hit dozens that way.
I can hit a lot of gyms with remote raid passes, but i have an abundance of regular raid passes right now that i want to blow through so that isnt as useful. Although just having a lot of gyms in the area in general is useful for that purpose if i get off my ass.
oh i think i did more than 9 raids yesterday. i forgot that i discarded a few lower iv ones. now i don’t know how many i did.
oh, the counter says 20. i did 20 between friday and today. i think. or whenever that counter started.
getting close to maxing out my perfect iv dialga with xl candies. that’s the point of all these raids right now.
yikes, the cost just went up to 20 candy xl for one power up. not that close…
ooooh i got a dialga in battle league!
i was perplexed for a second upon reading your post in the pop-up screen before looking at the visual and thinking the daily incense is dumb, and the quest to use them every day and catch 100 pokemon with it just led to getting a stupid common pokemon in the end.
i’m out of town until labor day and trying to decide if the go fest finale is important enough to me to figure out how to participate.
