learned that if you have a “best buddy” who is boosted due to being a buddy and want to power him up, it requires more candies than if you unbuddy him. wish i knew that before wasting 3 extra candy XL’s.
That doesn’t appear to be the case with my Pidgeot
14,000/7XL regardless of if an active buddy or not..
Or are you saying it would have been cheaper if inhad maxed him out prior to him becoming a best buddy?
maybe it’s only the case when you’re below the threshold for needing a specific amount of candies unbuddied, but above it while buddied. i needed 15 XL candies when best buddies while buddied up, but it is 12 if i unbuddy him. i’ll unbuddy him again once i get another candy to confirm, but pretty sure.

it’s fun when you’re battling, thinking you’re gonna lose and then your opponent makes a really stupid move and you win.
i had a mewtwo out. i forget who she was battling, but she was more than zero revved up to do a charge attack. we are both down to 0 shields. idiot switches out his current pokemon for a mewtwo to battle my mewtwo. my mewtwo hits him with the killer shadow ball and he goes down.
i always know i’m gonna lose if i have 2 guys left and my current guy is battling a mewtwo while i have a mewtwo in waiting if they have shadow ball even if i have more guys left.

I am so lost
Yeah, i played a little during community day since i just happened to be out walking, but i tend to ignore these.
It was “Community Day Classic” yesterday, where they bring back a previously featured community day Pokémon. With Swampert, Hydro Cannon is so far superior to other moves, that I spend the day (well, about 1.5 hours) looking for good PVP ones.

so is this season of battle league not an actual season and you can’t get past level 20? i just realized it’s not an actual season now that the news said that we had a break or some such.
Somebody at Niantic has a sense of humor. Like much of the country, the Chicago area has been hot and very humid. Despite there being no rain (but lots of humidity), there are lotads all over the place.
