but the Bible is a rewrite, with it’s own translations and purposes. You want to study the Tower of Babel, use the Tenakh
It wouldn’t be a bad exercise to compare and contrast the Bible against earlier or alternate contemporary works, such as comparing the Bible myth of the worldwide Flood against other cultures like Native Americans who also have passed down stories of past extreme weather.

Hah! When I was in college, I had a crush on this cute pre- med student . I found out he was in this Bible study group. So I joined it. I started reading the Bible and found out it has all those things that you mentioned. I decided no guy is worth reading this crap. So I chucked the Bible and quit the group.

Eh, I specified that we could expand it to anyone who died due to their own stupidity, irrespective of age / likelihood of future procreation had they not died.
I mean, she’s also no longer able to pass on her stupidity via means other than procreation, so… still helping the species.
I’m thinking about all the ways slapping therapy might be useful. Diabetes is certainly not one of them.

One school district in Utah did ban the bible from their schools.

It was fairly quickly unbanned and iirc the legislature amended the law that lead to the banning.
