I think there is value to a culture.
We don’t want Japan to disappear, we don’t want Italy as a culture to disappear, we don’t want France as a culture to disappear.
I think we have to maintain the reasonable cultural identity of the various countries, or they simply will not be those countries.

Certainly not all white South Africans are racist and a number of one-time racist white South Africans were most likely doing so out of ignorance (I mean I guess on some level all racism is rooted in ignorance) as it was all they knew. I have known white South Africans who are ashamed of their country’s past and embraced black Africans and African Americans.
It does not seem like Musk is one of them, however.
Wishing to preserve culture is very important. I don’t see anything wrong with what Musk said. This is silliness from the liberal left in the United States who want to flood their country with cheap labor that cooks, cleans, and picks fruit for them. As a Quebecer, we are regularly accused of xenephobia from English Canada, but after 9 years of trudeau, they are now also realizing the folly of their ways.
Culture is extremely important in Europe and Canada. American culture glorifies greed and self-interest, which is why you will never have nice things like free healthcare.
Uh, wishing to preserve Nazi culture is decidedly NOT important. Quite the opposite, in fact.
