I feel like just a decade ago, second-term Obama controlling a super PAC and receiving a political donation from the parent of somebody he pardoned would be a scandal we’d still remember today.
In the modern era, it’s buried amongst other similar factoids.
Remember when Bill Clinton briefly chatted about golf and family with Loretta Lynch? That was a scandal!

Era of Irresponsibility with Republicans.
I expect that each of those people will spend significant money on legal representation due to the risk that a simple misstatement would lead to a perjury charge.
I would hope that they would all just refuse to appear at the phony hearings.

I’m curious why they’re going after Jeff Sessions
Jeff Sessions didn’t go along with Trump’s conspiracy theories regarding Hillary Clinton and Obama. Therefore, he’s a Deep State Marxist or something.

I wonder how effectively can they incriminate Trump.
Congress has the power to issue subpoenas, and I wouldn’t count on SCOTUS upholding the already-limited executive privilege retained by past administrations.
Invoking the 5th Amendment (or, in Bill Clinton’s case, 5th, 6th, and 14th Amendments if they decide to indulge in a bit of Epsteinism), however, is very kosher, unless immunity/pardons are granted.
