Tracks that we’d copy shithole countries.
We’ve already seen Congress redefine a “day” to meet its needs.
I suppose it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to redefine “four years” to equal “remainder of Dear Leader’s lifetime”.
A new official website of the United States Government:
Bridge players are confused.
I"m guessing they arranged the “region” field by order of his preference.
I wonder how much it’s going to cost. /s
Would someone with 5M to blow on a citzenship card like that really want to live in the US? I think the US is a good place to build wealth but there would be much better places to spend it.
Is that his mug shot?
A thread worth reading
Yep.
There is also an option for “individual or business”.
Did I miss the announcement that we have officially been making businesses citizens?
Assume you’re a very rich person who is a citizen of someplace with a weak passport (e.g. India).
Now that Cyprus’ and Malta’s golden passports have been shut down…
(True, there’s still Dominica and St Kitts …)
Alternatively, if you are a corporation in a country with a weak passport, have key personnel that need to visit the US, and don’t want to wait the 450+ days to get a visa…
Dominica and St. Kitts are now under a US travel ban.
Not worth buying a passport from there at this point, or even have a footprint there for business reasons.
Abbott plans to charge Dems with bribery of they don’t show up
Sort of saying the quiet part out loud that political contributions are made to support some initiatives, but it becomes bribery if you are a D.
Going to another gerrymandered state controlled by the Ds is not quite the own they are thinking it is.
Between this and the possible CA redistricting, this is why we need to repeal the Permanent Apportionment Act and go back to one rep per 30,000 people.
Then to fit everyone, sell the Washington Whateveryouwanttocallthems to another city, and use the stadium for House business.
Solves the gerrymandering problem and the football team name “problem” at the same time. Win-Win!
I’d say:
“why we need to amend the Permanent Apportionment Act and require proportional elections”
or
“why we need to amend the Permanent Apportionment Act and require simple rule (algorithmic) redistricting”
