As Stalin once said, “It’s not who votes. It’s who counts the votes.”
I’m one of the subscribers who left. I was torn between supporting good reporters who often get those leaks that tell us what’s happening in government vs. supporting Bezos sucking up to Trump.
I think I’ll re-direct the money to The Guardian.
I thought this was the one from Texas where they’d arrested Antifa’s leader’s girlfriend a few months ago.
Turns out it’s just one local varietal of “Leader of Antifa”, violently allowing people to use his bathroom.
Penn Station, like the sub shop? I’ll pass on putting a Trump in my mouth.
Probably had to offer free popcorn to get troops to attend.
And that’s after they’ve already gotten rid of all the woke troops.
America’s version of Hitlerjugend seems to be coming to Nebraska.
Frivolous lawsuit shot down:

U.S. District Judge Hala Jarbou dismissed the case, citing a failure to state a claim.
“As explained below, the Court concludes that [Help America Vote Act] does not require the disclosure of any records, the [National Voter Registration Act] does not require the disclosure of voter registration lists because they are not records concerning the implementation of list maintenance procedures, and the [Civil Rights Act] does not require the disclosure of voter registration lists because they are not documents that come into the possession of election officials,” Jarbou wrote in her opinion.
Judges will no longer be provided scientific information on climate change. They should decide these cases on whatever Bloatus says is best.

“[James Talarico] was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network’s lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast. Then, I was told, in some uncertain terms, that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on. And because my network clearly does not want us to talk about this…Let’s talk about this.”
“If you’re fake news, you’re not going to qualify for the bona fide news exemption,” said Carr.
“If Kimmel or Colbert want to continue to do their programming,” said Carr, “and they don’t want to have to comply with this requirement, then they can go to a cable channel or a podcast or a streaming service and that’s fine.”
Colbert then said he was following Carr’s advice and posting the entirety of his Talarico interview on YouTube. You can watch it below.
“Don’t do this, but don’t tell anyone that we are telling you not to do this” = “We know what we are doing is wrong.”
OK, all Colbert has to do is rip some idiot GOP candidate. OR, even better for our country, have some anti-tRump GOP candidates on.
Good interview.
I guess the Trumpers figure even if it’s struck down by the courts, that will take a long time. They are undoubtedly correct.
But it seems both sides can do that. Now Ari Eiss isn’t going to do this, but…
Just ignore the FCC, do the show, and contest/ignore any sanctions. Ignoring an executive branch action doesn’t feel much different than ignoring a court order imo.
