Sounds like the charges are stretching what happened into a reason to harass lemon with legal trouble in order to retaliate against him saying mean things about Trump.
It’s sad this stuff has become meaningless. Expected because it’s Trump. But at the same time, it’s part of the same environment that helps him get away with everything when it’s all seen as politics instead of actual crime.

They are charging 9 people with conspiracy to deny people their right to free exercise of religion. They cite Title 18 section 248 a(2). 18 U.S. Code § 248 - Freedom of access to clinic entrances | U.S. Code | US Law | LII / Legal Information Institute
The law was passed to protect people entering abortion clinics, that’s a(1). I don’t know if a(2) was originally in the law or added later.
They say Lemon was with the demonstrators before they started out for the church. He was livestreaming the event. In a couple cases, he specified that he was not telling his audience where they were headed because they wanted to keep their target location secret as long as possible.
As close as I can tell, that’s part of the “conspiracy” charge against him. It’s easy to scan the document for LEMON to see other assertions.
Lemon will say he is a reporter. I expect the gov’t will say he is the group’s PR voice.
Lemon is required to tell others where the crowd of thugs is and where they are going.

A regime taking control of elections with the intention of interfering with its opponents’ right to vote, restricting access to the polls, or changing the outcomes of the votes would count as a milestone towards authoritarianism.
