So the rumors are that RFK Jr is going to drop out and throw his support for Kamala.
John Oliver will open up to RKFJr when this happens.

RFK can do what he wants. Harris already publicly rejected his request for a free Cabinet position in exchange for an endorsement. RFK also offered to endorse Trump if he got a free Cabinet position, and so far theyâve been in talks with no announcement.
RFK is in it for RFK. At this point he seems to be harming Trump more by giving never-Trumpers a non-Democratic option.
lol I wouldnât count on either of those things happening.
An endorsement from RFK Jr plus $2 might buy you a small coffee somewhere. The dude is deluded if he feels his endorsement has value. I guess it is hard for a Kennedy to understand that.
Well, my bunch of drunk friends at Peter Lugerâs thought it would be a good idea, so I ran.
RFK would have endorsed Harris if Harris gave him a Cabinet position, but the Harris campaign openly rejected his endorsement. Sounds like Trump has offered RFK a Cabinet or similar high-profile position for endorsement.
Vance denies that Trump will offer a Cabinet position, if you believe the things he says. But he never said anything about other high-profile positions.
For the recordâŚ
I was responding to deep purpleâs post about rfkjr. Supporting Kamala, and then John Oliver warming up to him.
Him dropping out and supporting trump was always plan B imo.
No, he wouldnât. So much of a shit-show in that guy, as noted in great detail by J.O. on LWTwJO.
I basically agree with you, assuming that by âthat guyâ you mean RFKJr not JO.
On the other hand, while I like JO and I find his writing and humor very entertaining, I definitely view JO as an unabashed liberal, which means his position is lefties are ALWAYS correct and conservatives are ALWAYS wrong. Also, he uses tired logical fallacies to support his ideas & ideals.
Cool.
Examples?
I just seem to notice when a republican says something that is generally true, he finds a counterexample or two and then concludes the republican is wrong and ridiculous.
When a democrat says something that is generally true and a republican applies the same counter-argument logic JO uses freely, JO concludes that the counterexample is not relevant so the republican is wrong and ridiculous.
He doesnât leave room for me, and I stand on the middle ground.
I still find him entertaining.
(pause for humorous effect)

I agree that while JO is entertaining (Iâve seen him in person!) If youâre familiar with a topic before watching him I think youâll find he often gives a true but certainly single minded view of the issue
I have found that on several topics. But I have also found that to a lesser extent with the New York Times, but I enjoy both of them.
Yes I agree on that point as well. COVID got me reading less NYT.
His story on the Waffle House ordering system, in last nightâs show, was hilarious.
Agreed.
And the Voting segment was a bit too scary. I mean, who needs to make sure the results go their way by installing their people except for actual cheaters and thiefs??
