Briefly, it describes an announcement of new legal settlements in the West Bank. Inspired me to try and better understand the whole situation there. Best I can tell, the whole thing seems analogous to the annexation of Native American lands by the US in the 19th century. A sort of Manifest Destiny argument.

Just a matter of time before the conflict kicks off again because you simply cannot co-exist with extremists of any variety. The article illustrates the religious stupidity of these people.
Thats why (in my view) Isreal is likely doomed to never ending conflict in the long-run. Once they let in the religious nutjobs into the Govt (Smotrich and Ben-Gvir), these two have spent the last two years putting in their own people in positions of authority (police and security services).
Its one thing to protect against outside threats (Iran, Syria etc) but its another matter entirely when the threats come from within. You can’t fix that kind of problem without signifcant internal problems arising.
The body of Ran Gvili was brought back to Israel this morning. This was the last hostage that remained in Gaza - now all of them have been brought back home.

Reporter claims location has been known for a month.
Proof was found that Palestinian Islamic Jihad was firing defective rockets, knowing they were defective, leading to the deaths of innocent Palestinians. When Hamas confronted them about it, the response was “We are at war. And even if a thousand people are killed by friendly fire, that is the price of war.”

The lying and prevarication was truly off the scale.
Too many people spreading IDF propaganda trying to minimise the scale of the deaths when the evidence was clear from multiple sources
In short, the IDF and its backers lied. And the ICJ will not be looking kindly at such behavior in their genocide trial.
