Hamas is terrified of aid not being controlled by them - if the people actually realize that they’re better off without Hamas, it may actually lead to a peace and the elimination of Hamas.

She’s been screaming about being kidnapped and blocking aid. Except she got detained, processed and released almost immediately and the paltry amount of aid she brought along seems to have been distributed in Gaza. She wasn’t kidnapped, and her aid wasn’t blocked, she’s basically lying.
When the theatrics overtake the message. She’s actually damaging things by desensiting people from the very valid concern of aid distribution in Gaza.

I am pretty confident though that the purpose of the trip wasnt to get aid to gaza. It was to get arrested and get their picture in the papers. Shes more a kardashian than she is an activist trying to address anything going on in gaza.
I also don’t think she adds much value to the situation.
I was largely ok with her when she was young and was trying to get more attention for environmental issues. But she has kind of morphed into a sort of professional activist now and its all just a bit off-putting. The situation in Gaza deserves serious attention but this doesn’t really help as the current Israeli Govt will just use this situation for their own political ends.
The list of war crimes is getting longer and longer.
