I know a guy, so I don’t pay retail. The rest of the setup is a Yamaha Aventage receiver that I want to upgrade, and Gedlee Abbey speakers. They are large monitors with a 12” woofer and a compression tweeter with a 12” wave guide.
I’ve got a second setup with Magnepan loudspeakers and a 15” Monitor Audio subwoofer. It’s in a more formal room so ‘just’ one sub.

You don’t understand. There’s an unwritten code about this kind of thing. I could be ostracized. I remember when I was a kid, some guy tried to heighten. He lost his job, lost his friends, Everything. Oh, I knew I was crazy to try this kind of thing, but I was so desperate.

You can ask Serena for permanent Level 3 status (or whatever level it is) and she’ll probably give it to you. At least, at one point she was doing that. Possibly that was only in the beginning but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I think if you aren’t active for a while you can be downgraded. It may happen automatically.
Yeah, in the early days even ao_fan & I (the two most prolific posters) were teetering on the edge of having access or not. We’d know because every time we re-qualified for lounge access we’d get an email welcoming us. Which at one point was happening multiple times a week. Which meant we were either losing or re-gaining access almost every single day.
And we were like “wait, if the two highest post-count users can’t stay eligible, how can anyone else?”
They tweaked the qualification settings so it was easier to qualify and people were less likely to be booted out and also gave a bunch of us permanent “trusted” status (or whatever it’s called) if we asked for it.
But evidently it is still possible to lose your status if you weren’t manually set to permanent. I’m not sure what the qualifications are for getting / keeping it though.
Yes, I believe it does happen automatically (as you say) if Serena didn’t manually change your status to be permanent.

We bought some bamboo sheets to give them a try. I like the feel of them, very soft (important to me) and not too hot (important to Mr. NA). They wrinkle easily, extremely easily, but appearances aren’t important to me in this regard. I will be buying more.
Gonna buy some higher end sd cards. Quite a rabbit hole.
My marketing person was not liking the quality of my videos. We did some looking and it turns out that cameras with video are not the same as a decent webcam. For example, webcams keep everything in focus, whereas cameras will focus on the foreground and blur the background. Its obvious once you see it.
I checked my old, used beginner camera i bought last yearit doesnt do video. But my son has an expensive camera because he does a lot of hunting videos. So hes going to set up his camera, along with lighting and ill record the videos again.
The only requirement? I buy my own sd cards.
