Easily an hour in Costco, then another 40 minutes in Wal-Mart. Lots of crappy renditions of Christmas songs (isn’t it easier to list the ones that aren’t?), not that one.
Still safe. Considering tomorrow will be around here, I think I’m home free.

This morning on my dog walk I had my phone playing other Christmas music in an effort to get this damn tune out of my head.

Still in. Thanks to sports talk radio, I feel pretty safe in my car. I don’t have music on otherwise, unless it is my from my own phone, so almost no risk. Feels like it would be an unsatisfactory win, but I’ll take it.
Since this is a national thing, I think that radio and streaming services took it off their Playlists so that people wouldn’t turn off. Cuz money.

I was in the car at midnight last night and the local station that plays 24/7 holiday music signed off with …not Wham! I thought it would have been a great opportunity for them there and I was willing to risk it.

AFAIK, I survived. I heard plenty of pukey covers. Hopefully, there won’t be post-Christmas hangover songs.
