Out. Christmas party background music
Heard a cover this afternoon, but I guess I’m still in.
I heard a live cover at a winery bar last night. Twice, since we were early and heard the sound check version. Friend of a friend in the band.
And at least one of those “friend” relationships now has an “ex” in front of it, right?

Heard Ariana Grande cover it, and an absolutely horrible cover of all I want for Xmas. Good thing there wasn’t a cliff nearby.

Got another non-wham version today
We hosted my mom’s family this weekend at our house this weekend. I opened up my Pandora to play some Christmas music and was going to click the Holiday Classics station, but then I said “I will lose Whamageddon if I do this”. I picked Holiday Chill instead. It was delightful. Basically piano and jazz versions of all the songs that fit that mold with no singing. Not only am I still alive in Whamageddon, but several folks complimented the low key tunes.

Made it through the holiday party so I’m likely good for the rest of the year.
Will be looking into the holiday chill channel in order to have some festive music going without it distracting me with words. I have never been a person who could listen to music while studying (unless it was just doing math). Words on top of words makes my brain stop working.

No, there is no Mariah Carey game this year.
Probably should be. Could even turn that and this one into “did you hear it?” vs. “how many times did you hear it?”

It’s just Pandora. I searched for Christmas music and it came up as one of the options. Just checked again. It’s specifically called Chill Holiday Radio.
