I have a Happy Playlist. I’ll have to listen to the album and see if I need to add anything to my playlist.
The new HP toner cartridge arrived!!! ![]()
the pride of Owatonna MN!
first grill of season, on new grill ( got for free)
cigar and bourbon (also free) waiting for Mrs PZ to prep steak
Nice red wine in a dirty glass w/ dinner
watching ballgame on a Friday night
Is that a euphemism for something or are you just painting a picture with words?
DNGAF Friday?
Another perk of shower drinking, the glasses are always washed. My friend Bob Sacamano does it all the time.
Ok I watched Castaway and now I know. Great song
He called last night about 3 a.m. We got to talking, he sells Russian hats down at battery park, forty bucks.
Castaway is such a good movie, I’m going to watch it again today.
On the first Saturday of most months, a local group has a ‘mug hunt’ where they hide ten coffee cups in a city park. At 8:30AM they post a clue as to which park, and people go look for them. I’ve done about six of them, it’s fun to walk a few miles in one of our parks. But today, I finally found a mug!
What do you do with said mug once it is found?
Whatever you like, once you find it, it’s your mug.
ETA: the mugs are all from local businesses. Today they were from the public library, and have the logo on it.
I was in the Rome subway platform with few people around and out of nowhere a wallet landed five feet from me. I grabbed it, it was probably pickpocketed? and out of cash but still had the ID (Finland) and credit card.
The subway people wouldn’t take it so at my stop where I met up with my sister we both tried two different methods to contact the guy and then dropped it off with the police.
Three hours later my sister got an email from him and she was able to direct him to the police station.
Were you pickpocketed when you bent over to pick it up?
No I wear a money belt. My back pockets generally contain a paper copy of any admissions for that day and a power source to keep my phone charged. They can have those.
Earlier in the thread I posted when our township library gave children that opportunity. (though I’m not sure I really understand this description of this photo. “They” don’t feel alone. The dogs or the children? I assume the program is for the benefit of the children.
I don’t think there are any losers! The dogs don’t get enough human interaction normally and the kids get a nonjudgmental audience to practice their reading. And maybe a few families get a new member.
Daddy actuarializing on the back deck since it’s so sunny and warm!!! ![]()
My local sis in law wanted to stop by and give me something. There were a few smaller things but she also gave me a quilt. I haven’t unfolded the whole thing yet. It was made by either my husband’s aunt or his grandma. I’m thinking aunt bc the fabric seems too bright to be old enough to have been his grandma’s. Also she used all her things and as far as I can tell this doesn’t seem to have much wear.
I’m crying.
