We rate dogs is known for giving scores greater than ten out of ten, because dogs are awesome and even the worst dog is better than the best human. Or something like that.

Originally the ratings were traditional one on the 10 point scale, but reactions and engagement jumped when dogs would get ratings over 10, and basically all dogs are good. 15/10 is the highest rating given.

originally (his original ratings) had some dogs at like, 8.
since he unlocked his web savvy, the founder rates dogs at the lowest 12/10. 15/10, the name of the foundation, is a score seemingly reserved for dogs who literally saved lives. (he explained somewhere that he got asked by his dentist how college was going and he lied and said “great.” bc the real answer was he had figured out how to monetize objectifying dogs online for content and he no longer attended and wasn’t ready to explain.)
it is worth a follow for the top 5 of the week summary. i know I’m hoping the dogs were good again this week!

Got my Brazilian Permanent Residence Card today (one step below Citizenship basically)
Lots of paperwork involved, but I can now stay as long as I like in Brazil going forwards.

I bought some snapper (the whole fish, four of them, so I could make fish stock with the leftovers) from Brazil this week. Very nice!

Finished draining the fall/winter water that was in the above ground pool. Cleaned the liner. started refilling. Set up filter/hoses. Very satisfying. The drinks after this were delicious.
Mixed thought - apology to the duck who looked at me yesterday as it stood on the frame and the water level was half of what it was used to. Please come back again!

town wide garage sale today. I cleared over 700 bucks.
One lady gave me a 10 from 1974 and a 50 from 1954. I’m like, are these fake? Anyway I was amazed seeing these bills from back then.

Can you still exchange expired paper money in Canada for new notes?
I got a $540 settlement check from BCBS. Is that legit?
I don’t think they expire. They’re legal tender. Once they hit a bank im sure they’ll be destroyed but right now, they’re spendable cash.
I wouldn’t imagine they expire. And while I doubt they are old enough, it is possible they could be worth more than face value. Maybe worth a google.
Speaking of, here is the oldest currency I own, a 1921 silver dollar. Which is definitely worth a tad more than face value.

i had old pounds in England. You couldn’t spend them, but can exchange them at Bank of England or a Post Office.

I found a pile of mail that was hidden under something. Mostly junk, but also had one of my wife’s paychecks!
