I got invited on a group spring break trip to a friend’s beach house.
We had fun there last year. I imagine bringing a case of wine for the house last time didn’t hurt my chances of getting another invite.

I went to drunk Shakespeare, on my own, and it was super awkward and hilarious and unexpectedly fun. I would do it again. But I would arrive later so I wasn’t seated in the front row and pulled in as a participant. I’m more of a second row kind of gal.

Daughter in Finland lost her wallet…it, of course, had her credit/debit cards & US-state-issued id (but, at least, not her passport). A few hours later, she got a message on instagram from the woman who found it…daughter initially ignored the message because it was an unknown account & she was freaking out trying to find her wallet. That was all late last night. Today, daughter was reunited with the wallet & everything was intact.

She should keep a close eye on the credit card charges as one scam is to steal a wallet, get the credit card data and return it so the owner doesn’t cancel the cards.
Then the thief can use the cards on normal ish stuff for a while undetected.
Probably the person who returned it was honest… just have her keep an eye on the charges just in case.

After an almost complete teardown of my atv, uncertain electrical diagnosis, and a couple of things that made the problem worse, the winch on my atv is now working again! What a relief.
I couldve done some.other careers like carpentry or farming, but there is no way id make it as a mechanic or electrician. Everything that should be a rational step by step diagnosis seems to be completely counter intuitive to me. I already know when i put the atv back together im going to have some spare parts lol.
I got pulled over by the police for the first time in 30+ years. Per the popo I was going 69 in a 55mph zone. This was in a very rural county where speed traps for revenue boosting are common, and I have city plates. Got a thank you, slow down and have a nice day.

spoke with a client today. they discovered an error in a quoted program’s price and it was 200k worse than our presentation indicated. (simple excel error) that is ~2%-3% of the total program cost. client was gracious and we worked through it. happy part is the client was gracious and focused on getting it right. happy they are not in position for blowback too (I can deal with it if needed)

Can’t wait! Turns out my granddaughter goes ballistic over fresh squeezed juice. I just got a new juicer, and we’re headed over there for supper tonite. Gonna stop at the grocery store, pick up some fruit, and start a tradition with her. Can’t wait to see her vibrating with excitement lol.
